General Information
Hours of Operation
Blessed Lil One's hours of operation are from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
The latest time of arrival is 9:00 am, child must be in the custody of staff, no admittance afterwards, no exceptions.
Childcare is standard 10 hours per day unless arrangements have been made and approved with management regarding part-time or extended hours. If childcare hours exceed the standard 10 hours, late fees will apply accordingly.
Age and Number of Children Accepted
Blessed Lil One's will care for a maximum of 130 children. This number is based on the indoor and outdoor square footage of the childcare facility as well as the number of childcare providers on staff. Blessed Lil One's provides care for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years. In order to provide quality childcare services, Blessed Lil One's has established limits on the number of children in each age group as follows:
Blessed Lil One's strictly complies with childcare regulations regarding child-to-staff ratios.
- Birth to one year 1:5
- One to two years 1:6
- Two to three years 1:8
- Three to four years1:12
- Four to five years 1:17
- Five to six years 1:20
- Six to twelve years 1:23
Holidays, Vacations, Miscellaneous Closings
Blessed Lil One’s is closed for all major holidays (No fee decreases for these holidays.) Blessed Lil One’s will consent to up to 1 consecutive week of scheduled holidays/vacation per fiscal year at reduced fees with at least 30 days written prior notice.
Blessed Lil One’s will be closed for the following Holidays:
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & the following day "aka - Black Friday /Native American Heritage Day", Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, July 4th, New Year Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, MLK Day and Juneteenth (Changes can be amended anytime at the discretion of owner)
The parent is responsible for arranging for alternate childcare for closings and for emergency closings due to severe weather or other causes. Childcare Tuition cost will not be adjusted for such closings.
Supplies
The parent is responsible for providing the following items to Blessed Lil One's for the benefit of the child whenever reasonably requested by Blessed Lil One's: diapers, formula, baby wipes, change of clothes, personal blanket, etc. (No blankets or pillows allowed for infants).
Program Activities

Blessed Lil One's will provide daily activities, toys, and materials appropriate for each child's age level to entertain the child as well as facilitate the child's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
Blessed Lil One's will post a daily activity schedule, which will detail the activities for the upcoming week.
Blessed Lil One’ occasionally take the children on field trips. A child will not be allowed to participate in a field trip unless the parent has signed a permission form. Parents will be given advance written notice of the dates and locations of all field trips. Additional fees may be charged to the parent in order to reimburse Blessed Lil One's for admission prices, transportation costs, and/or meal costs in connection with the field trip. If a parent chooses not to have his/her child participate in the field trip, the parent is responsible for arranging alternate childcare.
Children with Special Needs
Blessed Lil One's is willing to provide care for children with special needs.

Parent Participation
Parents are welcome to visit the childcare facility at any time during which childcare is provided and participate or volunteer in any of the activities with approved state background checks. Communication between parents and the provider is important in maintaining high quality childcare. All comments and suggestions regarding services are welcome. Blessed Lil Ones free and full access must be granted to parents of children enrolled unless court order stipulates otherwise. The visit must not disrupt instructional activities or classroom routines.
Pickup of a Child / Tracking of each Child
To ensure the safety of the children attending the childcare facility, Blessed Lil One's has established the following procedures for the pickup of a child from its facility: only the parent or individuals designated in writing by the parent may pick up a child.
The parent must inform Blessed Lil One's in advance if someone other than the parent will pick up the child and update via Kinderlime app. If the parent has not provided Blessed Lil One's with such information, the child will not be released to the individual(s), and the parent will be notified.
Children will always be supervised by a qualified staff person. A tracking form is used to track children as they move to different locations during the day.
When picking up children, parents are expected to enter the front entry of each location. The door will be locked and each authorized parent and or guardian will have electronic entry access. A child can depart the facility with his/her parent/guardian or another individual who is authorized in writing by the parent/guardian. The names of these individuals are listed in the Student Emergency Contact form and via Kinderlime app. All unfamiliar persons picking up a child from Blessed Lil Ones will be required to sign the child in or out and required to show valid legal identification with picture id.
