Discipline
Blessed Lil One's will explain the rules of the childcare facility to all children under its care, as appropriate. When a child understands the rules but chooses not to follow the rules, then Blessed Lil One's staff may discipline the child using age-appropriate techniques, which consist of the following: setting or defining limits, 1) preventive, (2) supportive redirection and corrective( 3) appropriate consequences may include removal from the group for a period of time.
If necessary, Blessed Lil One's may suspend a child from 1-3 days to indefinite and or termination from Blessed Lil One’s childcare program if habitual escalating behavior has not ceased with failed attempts to redirect and or discuss other options with the parent. Blessed Lil One's do not practice corporal punishment of any physical or verbal actions.
